Should I Stage My Home Before Listing?

This is a question I often get asked by my clients thinking about listing their home for sale. I always say yes, yes, and yes, but let me explain.

Professionally staged rooms will always appear nicer in photographs and it is the photograph that will make a potential buyer want to visit your home in person to perhaps put in an offer to buy.

In most cases, I offer my listing clients a staging consultation service because I believe it is the extra touch that might help the house sell faster and for more money than the unstaged home. 

The professional stagers on my team are looking out for you to offer advice that will optimize the appeal of the photograph. In some cases it is a matter of advising the home owner to hide certain things, for the photos and then they bring them back out.  In other cases it is a matter of advising to roll up a rug to make the room appear larger and show off the wonderful flooring. 

The value my staging consultation team can offer to my clients is invaluable. It is part of the value proposition I bring to my clients.
